RB-JOSEPH ADDAI (on with 10 carries in the last three weeks, if he considers himself well-rested or rusty) * *
"I feel like it's Week One right now. We've been doing a great job, both sides of the ball, offense and defense. I've been able to rest the last couple of games, so that might have a lot to do with it, and at the same time, getting ready for this we had the bye week, also. So I think we feel good (physically). Mentally I think we'll be alright because we've been getting prepared the right way and understanding what's going on."
RB-JOSEPH ADDAI (on how much his skills have evolved in the last year, with a year under his belt)
"I think in anything, you get one year under your belt, you get that much better just being there. Last year, coming in understanding the Colts are a complex team, you have to understand what's going on, you have to get right with Peyton (Manning) and all that. This year coming in, I think I'm ahead of where I was last year, even though each year you want to start over and start fresh. You try to watch some of the older guys, like in previous years, they forget (about the previous year's result). This is a whole new year, this is a whole new team. So you do that, but at the same time, take the steps that you took the (previous) year….As opposed to last year, it was mid-season, that's when I started feeling comfortable, starting understanding things. And this year, right at camp, I'm right there with everything."
RB-JOSEPH ADDAI (on if WR-Marvin Harrison's absence has forced the team to grow)
"You want to take advantage of things. Marvin's a great, great player, and you feel his presence when you're out there. I feel like if Marvin goes out there and doesn't catch anything, the defense is going to respect him regardless because of what he's done in the past. Him being hurt, you never want anybody hurt, especially a key player like him. But it opened up doors for the younger guys that are trying to accomplish (things), trying to be comfortable, trying to understand what's going on, like (Anthony) Gonzalez. You really don't know what kind of year he would have had if Marvin was (healthy). But at the same time, he was able to step in and do what he had to do to help the team out."
RB-JOSEPH ADDAI (on WR-Reggie Wayne)
"First of all, last year just coming in, a lot of people you hear, Marvin Harrison, Marvin Harrison. But Reggie Wayne, he's his own guy also. I feel like, and even this year, he was a number one receiver when Marv was out. If he goes to another team, he would be a number one receiver anywhere. Him just stepping up, that tells you a lot about him and how he is as a player. Even when Marvin was playing, just going out there when he's asked to do something, he's doing it. And he does it well. Him just being a main guy, able to do what he's done this whole season, that says a lot about him. You always want somebody like Reggie Wayne on your team."
RB-JOSEPH ADDAI (on the Colts and if you have to change in the playoffs)
"Playoffs, preseason, regular season, I think if we just do what we do, we'll be alri
