INDIANAPOLIS – With the midway point of the 2014 season approaching, the Colts find themselves right near the top of some key league rankings.

Offensively, the Colts got off to a quick start in 2014 and have remained as one of the league's best units through the first half.

Defensively, the current five-game win streak for the Colts has that unit among the NFL's elite.

Here's a rundown of some of the Colts more impressive rankings through seven weeks:

  • The Colts are second in the NFL at 30.9 points per game, first in net yards (452.9) and first in passing yards per game (329.6).
  • The Colts are the only team in the NFL with seven players that have 15-or-more catches this season. That doesn't include Donte Moncrief and Jack Doyle with nine receptions each.
  • The Colts are the only team in the NFL with two running backs who each have at least 500 yards from scrimmage.
  • The Colts lead the NFL in time of possession (36:56), by nearly three minutes more than any other team.
  • Andrew Luck is tied for the NFL lead with 19 touchdown passes through seven weeks. Luck leads the NFL in passing yards (2,331, which is 253 more than any other player) and completions (199, which is 21 more than any other player).
  • Ahmad Bradshaw leads all NFL running backs with six receiving touchdowns.
  • The Colts rank second in the NFL in point differential (11.4) and first in yard differential (141.7).
  • The Colts defense ranks first in the NFL in third-down percentage allowed (26.0 percent).
  • The Colts 21 sacks this season, places them in a tie for the third most in the NFL.
