I don't know what it is, but I think tornados warnings are attracted to us. We had the rather serious tornado warning in Anderson after the first Fan Fest, and last night as we are packing up, announcements come over the loud speaker asking everyone to leave the fairgrounds due to a tornado. Needless to say I'm not a fan of tornados, or really any other natural disasters, but tornados in particular I really don't like. So here is to hoping for no more tornado scares during the rest of the MIP tour.
But before the tornado scare, the MIP stop in Lawrenceburg went very well. Chris was in charge. That is right, not only did he have to speak, he had to give orders, and he did a fantastic job. The tour stop went off without a hitch, well except for the small fact that Alison lost her phone. A little side note, we are not the group to be around when you are upset that you lost something. Sensitivity is not one of our strengths. At one point Alison asked to borrow a phone and Pat said he wasn't sure because of her recent history with phones. Even Joe got into the joking mood with telling her to call information to find the nearest Verizon store. But on the upside, Alison found her phone this morning.
That is all for today, we are off to the AAA in Richmond from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Come on over and meet some Colts players and cheerleaders and of course the wonderful interns.
And like always, feel free to email me at MIP@colts.nfl.net if you have any questions, comments or fan mail!
