The Indianapolis Colts travel to Cincinnati for a preseason finale match-up with the Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
The Colts posted 21 points against the reigning Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers, but fell short of a victory in its third preseason contest, 24-21. Quarterback Curtis Painter started the game and completed 11-of-21 passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns while wide receiver Reggie Wayne topped the 100-yard mark with six catches for 105 yards and one touchdown. Joseph Addai paced the Colts running backs with 44 yards on eight carries.
The NFL regular season opens next weekend as the Colts travel to Houston for an AFC South Division meeting. For Indianapolis, the game marks the third consecutive year the team has opened the schedule with a division foe.
Entering the season, the Colts continue to hold the NFL's longest playoff streak, which now sits at nine seasons. Following last year's 10-6 record, Indianapolis has also produced nine consecutive double-digit victory campaigns. Colts Head Coach Jim Caldwell enters his third season at the helm. In his first two years directing the team, Indianapolis has produced a 24-8 record, which included a 14-2 mark and a Super Bowl XLIV appearance in 2009.
