INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts have elevated tight end Mike McNeill from the practice and waived offensive tackle Mike Tepper.
McNeill, 6-4, 235 pounds, originally was signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent on July 29, 2011. He played in opener at Houston and has seen action in two other contests.
Tepper started four of six appearances this season on the offensive line. He made his NFL debut at Tampa Bay on October 3 and made his first career start at Tennessee on October 30.
Three players have been ruled out of Sunday's game at New England – tight end Brody Eldridge, fullback Ryan Mahaffey and defensive tackle Drake Nevis.
The Colts meet the Patriots on Sunday at Gillette Stadium at 1:00 p.m. (ET).
