Indianapolis has signed free agent linebacker Mario Harvey.

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts signed linebacker Mario Harvey to a Reserve/Future contract.

Harvey, 6-0, 250 pounds, was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Pittsburgh Steelers on July 26, 2011, but was released prior to the start of the regular season.

At Marshall University, Harvey played in 46 games (40 starts) and finished his career with 421 tackles, 21.0 sacks and one interception. He earned first-team All-Conference USA honors in 2009 and 2010. During his senior season, Harvey started in all 12 contests and completed the year with 144 tackles, 8.5 sacks and one forced fumble.
