Colts Cheer Woman Of The Year

The Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders need your vote for Woman of the Year! The Woman of the Year program is a community service initiative, recognizing veteran Colts Cheerleaders for their community efforts throughout the year. Through fan voting, one Cheerleader will be selected to receive a $10,000 donation to the non-profit of her choice to help complete a service project.

Voting will end on November 25 and the Woman of the Year will be announced at the December 1 home game against the Titans.

Lexie – 4th Year

Non-Profit: Indiana Miss Amazing

Lexie has served as the Co-Director of Indiana Miss Amazing for 4 years (2015-2019) and raised $2,500 for the Children's Miracle Network.

"If I were to win WOY, I would grant the $10k to Indiana Miss Amazing's 2020 annual event as well as their titleholders' trip to Nationals."

Caroline - 2nd Year

Non-Profit: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana

Caroline has spent time as the Director of Activities for College Mentors for Kids and logged over 3,000 hours with Back2Back Orphan Care Ministries.

"If I were to win WOY, I would grant the $10k to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana to support the hundreds of youth on their waitlist."

Vanessa – 3rd Year

Non-Profit: NeuroHope

Vanessa spends time volunteering and providing weekly meals at Gleaners Food Bank and is a proud supporter of the Indiana Blood Center. 

"If I were to win WOY, I would grant the $10k to NeuroHope to fund new machinery and affordable costs to help patients regain strength after being paralyzed."

Non-Profit: Down Syndrome Indiana

Alliyah has been a Program Coordinator for camps to support underprivileged children and is a mentor for IPS students.

"If I were to win WOY, I would grant the $10k to Down Syndrome Indiana to fund activities like cooking, arts & crafts, and other fun events."

Non-Profit: Energy Crazed

Ambria volunteers with the youth in IPS schools and mentors young girls in the Circle City Classic Pageant.

"If I were to win WOY, I would grant the $10k to Energy Crazed to fund mental health awareness, fitness, and nutrition in underserved schools."

Katie volunteers with schools in Anderson, IN to help improve their facilities and has spent time putting together school supplies for students in need. 

"If I were to win WOY, I would grant the $10K to School on Wheels to help continue funding new uniforms for the many students who are in need of them."

Non-Profit: Crohn's & Colitis Foundation – Indiana Chapter

Lori was named the 2018 Woman of the Year and is an ambassador and young professional for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.

"If I were to win WOY, I would grant the $10k to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation: Indiana Chapter to help send Indiana children living with Crohn's Disease to Camp Oasis."

Non-Profit: Child Advocates Program

Alexis spends time volunteering with Wheeler Mission, kids in the community and at soup kitchens during the holiday season.

"If I were to win WOY, I would grant the 10K to the Child Advocates Program to help with funding for holiday presents to ensure all the children in the program receive something special this year."

Carissa – 2nd Year

Carissa volunteers her time with the Tri-West cheerleading program, at Pittsboro Christian Church and at Gleaners Food Bank.

"If I were to win WOY, I would grant the $10k to the BackSacks program through Gleaners to aid in the efforts to stop hunger by providing 7 meals in each backsack for students to bring home on the weekend."

Rachel was the Community Impact Challenge Winner in 2018 and has previously served as the Ball State University Dance Marathon President.

"If I were to win WOY, I would grant the $10k to NubAbility to further our influence and allow even more athletes to travel around the world and learn how to play adaptive sports at a competitive level."

Non-Profit: TheraPets of Indiana, Inc.

Anne was the Colts Cheerleaders Community Excellence Ambassador in 2018 and volunteers with youth in KIPP public schools.

"If I were to win WOY, I would grant the $10k to TheraPets of Indiana, Inc. to fund the expansion of their programs to more cities across Indiana and to adopt and train more therapets."

Rose spends time mentoring middle school girls about STEM and is a proud supporter of Camp Sunshine, a retreat for both children with terminal illnesses and their families.

"If I were to win WOY, I would grant the $10k to Camp Sunshine so that 4 entire families from Riley Children's Hospital could experience an unforgettable retreat."

Mariah – 7th Year

Mariah spends time helping coordinate the Mighty Mia promotion with The Shop where all proceeds from t-shirts go directly to Mia (Colts Jr. Cheerleader) to make therapeutic blankets.

"If I were to win WOY, I would grant the $10k to National Alliance of Mental Health Indiana to fund an awareness and prevention event."

Lauren is a member of the nursing staff at Riley Children's Hospital and is a strong advocate for giving back to the hospital.

"If I were to win WOY, I would grant the $10k to Riley Children's Foundation in hopes to increase the resources available for use by the Child Life Specialists."
