Todd Vasvari, Senior Player Personnel Scout


Todd Vasvari enters his 20th season with the Indianapolis Colts and his second as the club’s senior player personnel scout. In four previous seasons (2012-15), he served as the team’s assistant director of college scouting. Vasvari was also the eastern regional scout from 2006-2011 following a stint as the team’s area scout. He worked as an area scout with the Carolina Panthers (1995-97) prior to joining the Colts. Vasvari played tight end and earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Bloomsburg University in 1991. He worked three training camps (1989-1991) as an equipment assistant with the Buffalo Bills and then worked as a substitute teacher and assistant football coach at his alma mater, Phillipsburg (N.J.) High School, from 1992-94. Vasvari’s father, Hal, was a scout with the Montreal Alouettes and coached at the United States Merchant Marine Academy. Todd is married to the former Jennifer DeFrain. They have two sons, Bryce Daniel (16) and Brady Andrew (7), and reside in Zionsville, Ind.
