  • Was a three-year letterman at the University of Miami, playing in 36 games (30 starts), completing 551-of-955 passes (57.7 pct.) for 7,896 yards, 49 touchdowns and 30 interceptions.
  • Finished his collegiate career ranked third all-time in passing, third in passing touchdowns, third in passing attempts, fourth in completions, and ninth in completion percentage for the Hurricanes.
  • Started all 13 games under center as a senior and was a Third Team All-ACC selection by the league’s coaches after completing 198-of-344 passes (57.6 pct.) for 3,028 yards and throwing 21 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Became the second quarterback in school history to have multiple 3,000-yard passing seasons. Was the only quarterback in FBS to complete a 50-plus yard pass in nine different games.
