As a senior, competed in 12 games and totaled 47 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, one interception, one fumble recovery and five passes defensed. Was also invited to play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.
In 2010, was named an honorable mention All-Pac 10 selection while earning the team’s Special Teams Player of the Year Award.
In 2009, was a semi-finalist for the Butkus Award and made the CollegeFootballNews.com Sophomore All-America first-team list.

Personal:

Attended Servite High School in Anaheim, Calif.
Earned All-America honors from USA Today, Parade, EA Sports, SuperPrep and PrepStar among other media outlets in 2006.
As a senior, was also named a Long Beach Press-Telegram Best in the West first-team choice and a Los Angeles Times All-Star first-team selection.
In his final prep season, finished with 98 tackles, 20.0 tackles for loss, 7.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, five blocked field goals, three passes defensed and one interception as a linebacker, added 354 rushing yards on 48 carries with three touchdowns and caught 25 passes for 297 yards with three scores.
A native of Corona, Calif.
