2010 (COWBOYS):

• After posting four tackles at cornerback in the preseason, was released at the final cut date and was signed to the club’s practice squad.
• Flipped to wide receiver in the middle of the season and signed to the active roster on December 21.
• Was inactive for the final two games of the season.

COLLEGE:

• Did not play college football, but was a standout on the University of Texas-San Antonio track and field team.
• Was the school’s only four-time All-America selection.
• Helped lead the Roadrunners to six Southland Conference Championships (four indoor/two outdoor).
• Claimed nine Southland titles (five indoor/four outdoor).
• Twice named the league’s Indoor Athlete of the Year (2009-2010) as well as Outdoor Outstanding Track Performer (2009-2010).
• Established UTSA records in the 55m (6.23 seconds), 60m (Southland-best 6.59), 100m (9.90), 200m (20.60) and 400m relay (39.59).
• His 9.90-second 100-meter time was the fastest in the world during his junior season.
• As a sophomore, advanced to both NCAA Championship meets, finishing seventh at the NCAA Outdoor in the 100 meters (10.40) to become the fifth All-America selection in school history.
• As a freshman, earned NCAA Midwest All-Region honors as part of UTSA’s fifth-place 400-meter relay team.

PERSONAL:

• Ran track and was a three-year starter in football and two-year starter in baseball at John Tyler High School in Tyler, Texas.
• Earned second-team all-state honors as a junior and was a three-time all-district performer on the gridiron.
• Lead leg on the 400-meter relay team that finished fifth at the Class 5A state meet (41.01).
• Also qualified for the 100 and 200 meters and 800-meter relay.
• District winner in 200m as a senior.
• Had career bests of 10.51 in the 100m, 21.49 in the 200m.
• Majored in kinesiology at UTSA.
