HopeLine from Verizon Collection

Prior to each home game, the Colts team up with various non-profit organizations to host a charity collection at Lucas Oil Stadium.

  • DATE: December 1, 2013
  • TIME:  11:00 AM
  • LOCATION:  Lucas Oil Stadium

Prior to the Colts vs. Titans game on Sunday, December 1, the Colts will team up with Verizon Wireless to host a HopeLine from Verizon phone collection. Fans are encouraged to drop off used wireless phones from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at any of the Colts Community Collection Stations, presented by Toyota, located outside each Lucas Oil Stadium gate. The goal to collect 964 phones represents the 964 children Coburn Place has helped since opening its doors in 1996. In honor of participating fans, the Colts and Verizon will donate $10,000 to Coburn Place, a transitional housing program in Greater Indianapolis specifically designed to meet the wide-ranging needs of domestic violence survivors and their children.

HopeLine turns no-longer-used wireless phones and accessories into support for domestic violence victims and survivors. The program also helps protect the environment by disposing of wireless phones in an environmentally sound way.  Monetary donations will not be accepted.  For more information about HopeLine, visit www.verizonwireless.com/hopeline.

Items to be Collected: Cell phones only
