On Sunday, November 26, the Indianapolis Colts will team up with Meijer, the Official Supercenter of the Colts, and Bullseye Event Group to host the twelfth annual SACKing Hunger Food Drive, prior to the Titans game. From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., volunteers will collect canned/non-perishable food items from Colts fans for Midwest Food Bank. Donations will be collected at the Colts Community Collection Stations, presented by Toyota, located outside each Lucas Oil Stadium gate.

All items donated will benefit Midwest Food Bank, an organization that gathers and distributes food donations to non-for-profits and disaster sites without cost to the recipient. Midwest Food Bank supplies relief to 320 faith based and social service agencies in over 60 counties in Indiana. Currently, they help feed 80,000-90,000 individuals each month. Fans who donate on Thursday will receive a limited edition poster featuring several Colts players, while supplies last. Monetary donations will also be accepted at each Lucas Oil Stadium Gate, and the Colts will match all donations up to $2,500.

The Colts Gameday Collections program will continue to run throughout the 2017 season with a different charitable collection held prior to each home game. The last collection of the 2017 season will be the Angel Tree Toy Drive. A complete list of collections is available at www.colts.com/collections. Fans are also encouraged to show their support for the Colts Gameday Collection Program by taking pictures or videos and tagging @ColtsCommunity on Twitter and Instagram or ‘Colts in the Community’ on Facebook.

About Midwest Food Bank

Midwest Food Bank, on the Southside of Indianapolis, seeks to bridge the gap between prosperity and poverty by giving relief and hope in the name of Jesus Christ. In its short 10-year history, God has blessed MFB, allowing it to grow to be the second largest food bank in the state with more than 320 participating agencies across 60 counties of Indiana. In 2016, MFB distributed $30 million in food and supplies at no cost to their participating agencies, who in turn fed 80,000 hungry Hoosiers per month.  Seeking to do more with less so people with less can have more, MFB’s staff of 6 is small but praises God for the 2500 volunteers that help them fulfill God’s mission each year. Charity Navigator has consistently ranked MFB as a four star charity, they are a charity you can trust. In addition, MFB is a first responder with the Salvation Army for disaster relief in the lower 48 states and does international relief as well.
