Colts close regular season at home against Jaguars

The Indianapolis Colts (10-5) will close the 2013 regular season at home with the Jacksonville Jaguars (4-11) on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Indianapolis will try to finish the year 11-5 for the second straight season and compile a 6-0 record against AFC South opponents for the first time since 2009.

The Colts will also have a chance to improve their playoff seeding, as they currently hold the No. 4 seed in the AFC.

Last week, the Colts defeated the Kansas City Chiefs, 23-7, at Arrowhead Stadium. Running back Donald Brown finished the game with a receiving and a rushing touchdown for the first time in his career. Defensively, inside linebacker Jerrell Freeman recorded two interceptions, 1.0 sack and one forced fumble in the game. Kicker Adam Vinatieri set a new single-season career-high for field goals made (32), topping his previous mark of 31 which was set in 1998 and 2004.

The Jaguars lost to the Tennessee Titans last week by a score of 20-16. Quarterback Chad Henne completed 24-of-34 passes for 237 yards, two touchdowns, one interception and a 97.3 passer rating. Wide receiver Mike Brown and tight end Marcedes Lewis each tallied a receiving touchdown in the contest. Linebacker Paul Posluszny led both teams with 13 tackles (10 solo), to go along with a half of a sack.
