GAME RELEASE: INDIANAPOLIS VS. BUFFALO

Posted Nov 20, 2012

Colts host Bills at Lucas Oil Stadium

After wrapping up their last two games on the road, the Indianapolis Colts (6-4) return home this week to take on the Buffalo Bills (4-6) on Sunday. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.

The Colts have responded with a victory after every loss this season and they will look to continue that trend this weekend. At home, Indianapolis has posted a 4-1 record, having won its last three at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Last week, the Colts fell to the New England Patriots, 59-24. Despite the outcome, several offensive milestones were reached. QB-Andrew Luck threw for his fifth 300-yard passing game of the season, setting a new NFL rookie record. WR-Reggie Wayne reached the 1,000-yard receiving plateau for the eighth time in his career, tying him with Marvin Harrison for the most in Colts history. WR-T.Y. Hilton topped 100 receiving yards in a game for the third time this season, tying him with Andre Rison (1989) for the most in franchise history.

The Bills possess the No. 1-ranked punt return average and rank seventh in kickoff return average. In last week’s 19-14 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football, CB-Leodis McKelvin scored Buffalo’s only touchdown of the game after taking a punt return 79 yards for a touchdown following Miami’s opening possession. He finished with 98 yards on punt returns and an additional 75 yards on kickoff returns.
