GAME RELEASE: Houston Texans vs. Indianapolis Colts

Colts host Texans at Lucas Oil Stadium



The Indianapolis Colts (8-5) will conclude the season series against the Houston Texans (2-11) on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. on CBS.

 

The Colts will try to claim their eighth season sweep of the Texans all-time and first since the 2009 campaign.

 

Indianapolis clinched its eighth AFC South and 15th overall division championship in franchise history last week. It marked the first division title for the team since the 2010 season.

 

The Colts fell to the Bengals last week by a 42-28 margin. Quarterback Andrew Luck tied a career-high with four passing touchdowns in the game to go along with 326 passing yards. Wide receivers LaVon Brazill and Da’Rick Rogers both set career highs, hauling in two touchdowns apiece. Rogers became the first undrafted player in Colts history to record 100 receiving yards and two receiving  touchdowns in a single game.

 

The Texans fell to the Jaguars, 27-20, on Thursday Night Football last week. Houston holds the third-ranked defense and 11th-ranked offense, allowing 302.2 yards per game, while averaging 368.4 yards per game on offense. Quarterback Case Keenum has completed 119-of-219 passes for 1,592 yards, nine touchdowns, four interceptions and an 83.7 passer rating in seven starts this season
