INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts have added two more players to their Injured Reserve list.

The team announced on Monday it has placed two starters on IR in center Ryan Kelly and inside linebacker Jon Bostic. The Colts also signed free agent defensive tackle Caraun Reid.

Kelly had missed the team’s last three games after suffering a concussion in the first half of the Colts’ Week 12 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.

While Kelly was unable to practice the following week, he was an active participant in practice the next two weeks, and head coach Chuck Pagano expressed hope that the second-year center could be cleared by an independent league neurologist to play in the team’s last two games, something that did not end up panning out.

Veteran center Mike Person has started two games in Kelly’s absence, including last Thursday’s game against the Denver Broncos. Anthony Fabiano, a first-year Harvard product, started at center two weeks ago against the Buffalo Bills.

Kelly — who missed the first four games of the season due to a foot injury suffered during an Aug. 10 training camp practice — ends his second season having played, and started, in seven games after starting all 16 games his rookie season.

Bostic, meanwhile, suffered a right knee injury during the second half of the Broncos game on Thursday, and did not return.

In his first season with the Colts, the fifth-year Florida product had started all 14 games for the team at the WILL linebacker position, and finishes his season with a team-best 97 tackles (six for a loss), with one sack, three passes defensed and one fumble recovery.

The Colts will likely look to Jeremiah George and Anthony Walker to fill in for Bostic for the final two games of the season, while the other starter at inside linebacker, Antonio Morrison, will also be counted on to step up at the position.

Reid — at 6 foot 2 and 298 pounds — has played in 34 career NFL games (12 starts) in his time with the Washington Redskins (2017), Detroit Lions (2017), San Diego Chargers (2016) and Detroit Lions (2014-15) and has totaled 47 tackles (31 solo), 3.0 sacks, two passes defensed and two fumble recoveries. He was originally selected by the Lions in the fifth round (158th overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft out of Princeton.

Reid saw action in one game with the Lions earlier this season. In 2016, he appeared in seven games with the Chargers and tallied 16 tackles (eight solo), 1.0 sack, one pass defensed and one fumble recovery. Reid played in 14 games (12 starts) for Detroit in 2015 and registered 29 tackles (23 solo), 2.0 sacks and one fumble recovery. As a rookie in 2014, he saw action in 12 games and compiled two tackles and one pass defensed.
