Posted Jun 21, 2017

Indiana students can apply for up to $1,000 in Funding

INDIANAPOLIS – For the first time, the Indianapolis Colts and 20/20 Institute are teaming up for the Vision of the Future Grant Program. This program gives Indiana youth the opportunity to make their community a better place by providing students ages 11 through 15 the opportunity to apply for individual grants up to $1,000 to complete a service project in their area.

The deadline is August 2, 2017, and students ages 11 through 15 can apply for individual grants up to $1,000 to fund their community project through the Vision of the Future Grant Program, presented by 20/20 Institute. Grant applications are available at www.colts.com/2020visiongrant.

"Our 20/20 team is proud and excited to present the Vision of the Future Grant,” said Dr. Diana Fisher, CEO of 20/20 Institute. “Just as the 20/20 Institute family is dedicated to providing a world class experience for a lifetime of great vision, we are also dedicated to making a difference in the Indianapolis community that will last throughout time. This grant allows our upcoming generation to make a difference today that will make a lasting impact on the quality of lives surrounding us."

To be eligible for this grant, all applicants are required to partner with a registered 501(c)3 organization and submit an application form no later than August 2, 2017.

"The Indianapolis Colts believe that the Vision of the Future Grant will inspire incredible philanthropic efforts by Indiana youth," said Stephanie Pemberton, Senior Director of Marketing for the Indianapolis Colts. "We are excited to begin our partnership with 20/20 Institute and have this funding available to students who are looking to make a difference in their communities."

Once all applications have been received, a panel of Colts representatives and community leaders will select the grant recipients. All applicants will be notified of the chosen recipients no later than August 24, 2017.
