COLTS NEWS WEEK-IN-REVIEW: JUNE 17-21

Intro: Colts.com is beginning a new feature that will run on Friday’s and be a week-in-review recap of Colts news that took place the preview week. Here is this week’s installment with videos, blogs, articles and photos from June 17-21.

INDIANAPOLIS – It was a relatively quiet week around the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center with the Colts rookies wrapping up work before departing on Friday.

Take a look below for this past week’s headlines as the Colts are just over a month away from heading to Anderson for training camp.

Monday, June 17:


The week started off with a bang as Chuck Pagano was named the winner of the 2013 George Halas Award.

Ryan Grigson wrapped up minicamp
with an article written by Colts.com writer Kevin Bowen.

Team photographer Matt Bowen was up in Michigan this week for the 2013 Colts Cheerleading Calendar Swim Shoot. Here is a photo gallery from day one.

Tuesday, June 18:

During the OTAs and minicamp, the Colts welcomed official Sarah Thomas to the complex. Thomas is on the verge of becoming the first full-time female NFL official and talks about here experience in an article written by Bowen.

Wednesday, June 19:

Thursday, June 20:


The Colts rookies headed down to Arsenal Tech High School for a community event with 200 kids.

Bowen took a look back at Andrew Luck's historic day on third down in a Colts 23-20 win over the Miami Dolphins. Luck's rookie setting day along with Coach Pagano's emotional speech is all right here.

The cheerleading shoot continued in Michigan with day four of photos.

Friday, June 20:


The rookies wrapped up the week in Indianapolis with a trip down to St. Elmo Steake House.
