2013 HORSEHOE CLASSIC PARTICIPANTS

Indianapolis Colts will host a Friday night kickoff of high school football in Lucas Oil Stadium featuring four teams and communities from the state of Indiana.

INDIANAPOLIS – On Friday, August 23, the Indianapolis Colts will open the doors of Lucas Oil Stadium for the Horseshoe Classic: Friday Night Kickoff, presented by Herff Jones.  The 2013 Horseshoe Classic will feature Cathedral and Ben Davis at 6:00 p.m., and Terre Haute North and Castle at 8:30 p.m.  Tickets are available through existing schools, www.lucasoilstadium.comand Ticketmaster.

Hosting high school football games in Lucas Oil Stadium has become an integral part of the Colts efforts to support and promote the game of football at all levels.  “Each year, we work to give teams from across the state the opportunity to play in the Horseshoe Classic, which gives their entire community the opportunity to experience the thrills of cheering on their team in Lucas Oil Stadium," said Pete Ward, Indianapolis Colts Chief Operating Officer.  “Our goal is to promote youth football in Indiana and we cannot think of a better way for high school football to begin and end than at Lucas Oil Stadium.” 

The Indianapolis Colts are also proud sponsors of the IHSAA State Football Tournament.
