The Indianapolis Colts are looking for an entry-level, full-time sports blogger/reporter to develop and post original content and articles on Colts.com.  Applicant would ideally have experience covering similar topics and have a strong desire to write about football.  The applicant will be asked to develop several articles per week on the latest team and player news. In addition, the applicant will help with day-to-day maintenance of the website as well as other digital assets.


  • Write articles, blogs, and other content for the Colts
  • Publish and upload content (Articles and rich media: Photos, videos)
  • Maintain presence on social media
  • Daily editing of content and design of subpages on Colts.com
  • Assist with creation of photo galleries, as well as photo editing for stories, ads and features across all Colts digital assets
  • Some on-air work


  • Experience in sports reporting
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Google+
  • Detail-oriented and strong organization skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Above average computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) are required
  • Basic understanding of HTML
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  • Strong familiarity with Colts/NFL football a plus
