Getting to Colts Camp

Colts Training Camp Presented by Verizon and sponsored in part by Bud Light and the Hoosier Lottery will be held at Anderson University in Anderson, Ind., with the full squad reporting on Tuesday, July 26. The Colts will return to Anderson for the seventh consecutive year after the team originally spent their summers at the university from their inaugural season in 1984 to 1998. Following training camp, the team will return to the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center to resume football operations.

The 2016 training camp will be located at the Kardatzke Wellness Center/Macholtz Stadium complex located in the Northeast section of the university campus. The public can access the camp via University Boulevard and 5th Street. Campus signage will be present to direct the public to available parking for the duration of camp. Entire team practices and Colts City will be open to the public free of charge; however, there will be a parking fee for campus visitors (more parking information here).

Designed to provide a fun and interactive area for fans to engage with their favorite team, Colts City is located adjacent to the practice fields. This area is free and open to the public.

Colts City includes, interactive inflatable, Social media tent presented by Coke, give-a-ways and register-to-win ticket opportunities, Colts In Motion traveling museum, PLAY 60 Zone, Colts Pro Shop, Colts Cheerleaders, concessions and more!


Armed Forces Day presented by BOSE – Friday, July 29: Members of the Armed Forces are invited to attend Colts Training Camp for a day dedicated to the men and women who have served or are currently serving in our military. Discounted parking and concessions will be offered for military members who present a military ID.

Kids Day presented by Riley Children’s Health – Sunday, July 31: On this day, a special kids meal will be available for purchase at concession stands and families will have the opportunity to enjoy kids themed activities inside Colts City.. All Colts Kids Club Members will have the opportunity to participate in a scavenger hunt for the chance to win Colts tickets and other prizes. To become a member of the Colts Kids Club, visit

Community Take Back Day presented by the Attorney General’s Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention Task Force – Monday, August 1: The Colts are teaming up with the Attorney General’s Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention Task force for a prescription drug take back event at Training Camp. Fans who bring unused or expired prescription medications for safe disposal on August 1st will be given a complimentary copy of the 2015 Colts highlight DVD. BBQ Bash at Training Camp – Tuesday, August 2: The Colts will host a BBQ Bash during the evening practice at Training Camp. The evening will include BBQ concession items, a full-squad Colts Cheerleader performance, live music inside Colts City and more.


The NFL Stadium Security Policy will be in effect throughout the duration of Training Camp. The Colts are limiting the size and type of bags that spectators may bring into Colts Training Camp area, including Colts City. The following bags are permitted:

    Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12", including one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags.
  • Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap.
  • An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at the entry gate.


Players will only be available for autographs AFTER practice; there will be no access to players before their scheduled practice. Autographs are not guaranteed and are based on player availability. If you are unable to follow the autograph policy, you may be asked to leave the premises at any time.

Fans will be asked to take a seat in either the general public bleacher seating or ADA seating until the end of practice. To ensure the safety of all attendees, there will be no standing along the perimeter of the field at any time before, during or after practice.


Anderson University is located approximately 40 miles north of Indianapolis. It is located at Exit 26 off Interstate – 69. Take a left on State Road 9/Scatterfield Road and proceed approximately five miles. Turn left onto East 8th Street and then make a right onto Walnut Street.


Parking will be open every day that Colts City is open. Lots are scheduled to open around 10:30 a.m. daily, with the exception of Tuesday, August 2 and Thursday, August 11 when lots will open at 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. respectively.

Parking is $5 per vehicle and $20 for buses. Discounted parking will be available on Friday, July 29 for members of the Armed Forces with a military ID..
