The Blue Ladies were busy in 2017! We kicked off our season with Jack Doyle at the Blue Evening and traveled to Cincinnati for the second annual Blue Ladies Away Trip. Keep reading to learn more about what the Blue Ladies did in 2017!

Blue Evening
Saturday, June 3rd
Blue Ladies members gathered together at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center on Saturday, June 3rd for the 7th Annual Blue Evening event. The event featured a Q & A with Colts Tight End Jack Doyle, tours of the Colts memorabilia room and more than $10,000 in raffle prizes. Members enjoyed an assortment of hors d’oeuvres and complimentary beer and wine courtesy of Zink Distributing and Southern Wine and Spirits while mingling with fellow Blue Ladies. Proceeds generated from raffle ticket sales benefitted the Catholic Youth Organization. Together, the Blue Ladies raised over $7,000 for the organization!
Blue Ladies Away Game Trip
Sunday, October 29th
On Sunday, October 29th, Blue Ladies members boarded buses at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football bright and early and headed to Cincinnati to watch the Indianapolis Colts take on the Cincinnati Bengals for the second annual Blue Ladies Away Trip! Members enjoyed breakfast courtesy of MCL and arrived to Cincinnati just in time for a bit of tailgating with fellow Colts fans. Information on the 2018 trip will be determined after the NFL schedule release.
Blue Ladies Volunteer Days
Hope to Dream | Colts 5K | Horseshoe Helpings | Bleed Blue Blood Drive
In the spirit of giving back to their community, Blue Ladies came together for several volunteer opportunities this season.
  • On Wednesday, April 19th, the Blue Ladies teamed up with the Indianapolis Colts and Ashley Furniture to provide 100 underprivileged children with a new bed through the Hope to Dream program. Volunteers helped assemble 100 beds at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center for some very deserving local children!
  • To help kick-off the 2017 season, several Blue Ladies members served as volunteers at the 5th Annual Colts 5K at Lucas Oil Stadium. New to 2017, over 30 members formed a Blue Ladies team complete with a special team t-shirt!
  • The Tuesday before Thanksgiving, members helped distribute over 2,000 Thanksgiving meals to Indianapolis families in need courtesy of the Colts, U.S. Foods, Lucas Oil Products, Meijer and Citizens Energy Group.
  • On Saturday, December 16th, members braved the weather to help out at the annual Bleed Blue Blood Drive and Holiday Fest presented by Indiana Blood Center at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Bleed Blue Blood Drive is Indiana’s largest single-day blood drive!
