The Blue Ladies were busy in 2016! We kicked off our season with Mike Adams at the Blue Evening, traveled to Nashville for the first ever Blue Ladies Away Trip and added a new volunteer opportunity! Keep reading to learn more about what the Blue Ladies did in 2016!

Blue Evening
Saturday, June 4th
Blue Ladies members gathered together at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center on Saturday, June 4th for the Sixth Annual Blue Evening event. The event featured a Q & A with Colts Safety Mike Adams, tours of the Colts memorabilia room and more than $10,000 in raffle prizes. Members enjoyed an assortment of hors d’oeuvres and complimentary beer and wine courtesy of Zink Distributing and Southern Wine and Spirits while mingling with fellow Blue Ladies. Proceeds generated from raffle ticket sales benefitted Team Adams Foundation Inc. and Phalen Learning Academies. Together, the Blue Ladies raised over $5,000 for the charities!
Blue Ladies Away Game Trip
Sunday, October 23rd
On Sunday, October 23rd, Blue Ladies members boarded buses at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football bright and early and headed to Nashville to watch the Indianapolis Colts take on the Tennessee Titans for the first ever Blue Ladies Away Trip! Members enjoyed breakfast courtesy of Dunkin Donuts and arrived to Nashville just in time for a bit of tailgating with fellow Colts fans. Information on the 2017 trip will be determined after the schedule release.
Bye Week Wine and Canvas
Thursday, November 10th
The Blue Ladies continued the tradition of Bye Week Wine and Canvas once again this year on Thursday, November 10th at the Wine and Canvas Studio. Members gathered together for a little wine and painting of the retro Colts logo. While the painting itself proved to be a little “challenging”, the final products turned out great!
Blue Ladies Volunteer Days
Horseshoe Helpings | Bleed Blue Blood Drive | Back Sack Program
In the spirit of giving back to their community, Blue Ladies came together for several volunteer opportunities this season.
  • The Tuesday before Thanksgiving, members helped distribute over 2,000 Thanksgiving meals to Indianapolis families in need courtesy of the Colts, U.S. Foods, Lucas Oil Products, Meijer and Citizens Energy Group.
  • On Saturday, December 17th, members braved the weather to help out at the annual Bleed Blue Blood Drive and Holiday Fest presented by Indiana Blood Center at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Bleed Blue Blood Drive is Indiana’s largest single-day blood drive!
  • Blue Ladies volunteered alongside Colts TE Dwayne Allen as part of the Gleaner’s BackSacks: Weekend Food for Kids program. This program helps to provide a supply of healthy food to young children each Friday that is perfect for the weekend. BackSacks supports more than 200 schools in 21 Indiana counties!
