BRIEFLY: The Indianapolis Colts are supporting Military Appreciation during the month of November.

The Indianapolis Colts are joining National Football League (NFL)’s "Salute to Service" initiative, encouraging fans to join us in recognizing and honoring the notable military service to our country by our nation’s greatest men and women during the month of November. This initiative is related to National Military Family Appreciation month, when the families of service men and women are recognized for their sacrifices and support is offered to our troops.

Below is additional information regarding ways the Colts are celebrating Military Appreciation in November.

EVENTS THIS MONTH

Holiday Mail for our Heroes

The Indianapolis Colts have partnered with the American Red Cross to host its "Holiday Mail for Our Heroes" program. Colts fans will have two opportunities to sign holiday cards that will be sent to U.S. military personnel around the world. Card stations will be available at:

  • Meijer Blue Friday – Friday, November 2
    • Time: 12:00-1:00 p.m.
    • Location: 10509 Heartland Boulevard, Mooresville, IN 46113
  • Colts "Salute to Service" game – Sunday, November 4
    Locations:
    • Outside in the Fan Zone: 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
    • Inside Lucas Oil Stadium, from 11:00 a.m. until the end of halftime, in the Main  Concourse outside the following sections:
      • Section 110
      • Section 132
      • Section 143
      • Section 148

"SALUTE TO SERVICE" Game

The Indianapolis Colts are dedicating their November 4 game at Lucas Oil Stadium to Military Appreciation. At this game we will have a variety of military-focused elements including:

  • "Salute to Service" Gameday Program Cover
  • Full-field flag held by military members
  • Camouflage ribbon passout, presented by WISH-TV
  • "Holiday Mail for our Heroes" stations, supported by American Red Cross
  • 12th Man Fans honored: 150 youth and families from Snowball Express, a charity for children of fallen military heroes
  • National Anthem sung by Indiana National Guard Specialist Ronald Walker

In addition to the gameday elements, for every point scored during the game, the NFL will make a donation to the USO, Wounded Warriors Project and the Pat Tillman Foundation!


Horseshoe Dreams Ticket Donation Program

In honor of the "Salute to Service" game on November 4, Indianapolis Colts Season Ticket Holders may donate their tickets to the “Horseshoe Dreams” community program to allow a non-profit United Way agency, such as HVAF (Hoosier Veterans Assistance Foundation), an opportunity to attend the Sunday game.
