Literacy

The Colts are encouraging Hoosiers across Indiana to spend time reading while promoting literacy.

Books For Youth

The Colts and Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS) seek to provide a personal library of 25 books to every foster child in Indiana.

Colts Day in Schools

The Indianapolis Colts and Vincennes University have teamed up for "Colts Day in Schools" to encourage students to read and distribute free books to children who may not otherwise be able to purchase them. At the beginning of each school year, Colts players visit local schools to read to students in kindergarten through third grade and distribute free books. In 2011, the Colts delivered more than 1,000 free books to three Central Indiana schools through our "Colts Day in Schools" event.
