The Colts and the NFL, along with USA Football have several grants available for youth football programs.
Through annual contributions by NFL owners and players, the NFL Youth Football Fund has been providing opportunities for youth football programs to grow and develop through their various grants. In an effort to offer additional financial assistance to Indiana youth football teams, the Colts have launched the Indianapolis Colts Youth Football Fund.
The Indianapolis Colts Youth Football Fund was established to offer qualified youth football organizations the opportunity to apply for funds that will assist them in growing and supporting the game of football among youth in their community. Understanding that an organization may have many needs, the Indianapolis Colts Youth Football Fund (ICYFF) is specifically designed to provide support for organizations with financial need for equipment, referee/coach's training and/or assistance with player registration fees.
"The Indianapolis Colts are proud to continue to support local projects that improve fields, football development and bring families and communities together through football," said Colts Owner and CEO Jim Irsay.
All groups applying must be located within the State of Indiana and have or work with a registered 501(c) 3 to be eligible for grants. The ICYFF awards grants to youth football groups working with kids ages 12 and under.
As the official Youth Football Development Partner of the NFL, the NFL Youth Football Fund provides USA Football with an annual $1,000,000 grant for this grant program.
USA Football Equipment Grants provide youth leagues and elementary, middle and high school programs from across the United States with over $1,000,000 worth of new football equipment. Be sure to send USA Football your grant application.
