SACKing Hunger

Briefly: The Colts and Meijer team up each year in an effort to "sack" hunger in Indiana.

With donation levels at several Central Indiana food banks lower than needed to fulfill the requests in this challenging economy, the Indianapolis Colts and Meijer teamed up to lend a hand through their SACKing Hunger Campaign. Through this campaign, the Colts and Meijer hosted their fifth annual SACKing Hunger Food Drive at Lucas Oil Stadium two hours prior to kickoff of the Colts vs. Bengals game on Sunday, November 14th. Over 3,300 pounds of food were collected during this collection, and those who donated received a special edition Colts poster featuring the Colts defensive line!
