Appearance Requests
Briefly: The Indianapolis Colts are committed to supporting local programs when possible with appearances by various Colts players, coaches and staff members.
Please Note The Following Important Information Regarding Appearance Requests:
Due To The Hundreds Of Walks, Runs And Similar Fundraising Events That Take Place Across The State During The Off-season, We Are Unable To Fulfill Requests For Player/Coach Appearances At These Events. However, The Colts Are Dedicated To Supporting These Causes And Annually Contribute Both Monetary And In-kind Donations To These Events And The Organizations They Benefit.

Each year, Indianapolis Colts players, coaches and staff appear at hundreds of community and corporate events throughout Indiana. In order to properly review your appearance request, we ask that you carefully read and follow the information provided below.
Player Appearances
During the NFL season, Indianapolis Colts players are committed to giving back to the community through weekly appearances at various churches, businesses, schools and a variety of other locations around the state through our "Colts Community Tuesdays" program.
General Player Appearance Guidelines
At each Colts player appearance, we want the experience to be meaningful and beneficial to all parties involved. As a result, we ask that you send requests only for events that abide by the following guidelines:
- Direct interaction with children, elderly or other community members
- NO Career Days (due to the minimum percentage of players that advance to the NFL, these type of appearances are unrealistic)
- Clearly defined role/activities for the player (i.e. reading a book, speaking, etc.)
- NO activities that may cause bodily harm or physical injuries to players
- Wide-reaching impact (ensuring that the maximum number of people reached is possible)
- Purpose separate from player's attendance (We recommend that your event NOT center on a player's appearance, but that the appearance serves as a compliment to the event).
- When submitting a request, you must select a specific date for your appearance.
- Requests with "open date availability" will not be considered.
- Due to the high volume of requests we receive, the Indianapolis Colts have adopted a policy whereby we limit most appearances to Central Indiana locations.
Player Availability
Colts players are available for a limited number of appearances depending on the date of your request. Please consider the following when requesting a player:
- During the NFL regular season (Sep.-Jan.), players are ONLY available on Tuesdays, as this is their sole day off.
- Players are NOT available during the team's bye (off) week or during playoffs.
- Players are NOT available 72 hours prior to a game or on game day.
- Players are NOT available during training camp (late July-Aug.). However, training camp is open to the public.
- Players have limited availability during the off-season (Feb.-June), depending on place of residence.
Player Fees
The Indianapolis Colts organization does not set fees for external player appearances. These fees are established by each player and his agent, and will vary depending on the player requested. Some organizations offer players honorariums or make a donation to a charitable foundation as compensation for the player's time. All payments must be made directly to the player at the conclusion of the event.
Colts Personalities Appearances(i.e. Coaches and Staff)
Indianapolis Colts Coaches and Staff members participate in a variety of charitable organizations as guest speakers, board members or financial supporters.

- Direct interaction with children, elderly or other community members
- Clearly defined role/activities for the staff member/coach (i.e. reading a book, speaking, etc.)
- No activities that may cause bodily harm or physical injuries to staff member/coach
- Wide-reaching impact (ensuring that the maximum number of people are reached as possible)
- Purpose separate from attendance (We recommend that your event NOT center on the staff member's/coach's appearance, but that the appearance serves as a compliment to the event).
Colts Personalities Availability
Colts personalities are available for a limited number of appearances depending on the date of your request. Schedules vary greatly, but are very similar to those of players - when players are busy, so too are many others in the organization who play support roles on and off the field. In general, during the season coach's availability is extremely limited. Note that there is often more flexibility with staff member's availability - each request will be considered on an individual basis.
Submitting A Request
In order to be considered, ALL appearance requests must be submitted in the following manner:
- All requests must be submitted at least 8 weeks prior to the date of the appearance.
- All requests must be submitted using the ONLINE Appearance Request Form.
- All Appearance Request Forms must be completed in their entirety in order to be considered.
